This activity is not recommended for individuals with high blood pressure, epilepsy, asthma, or other serious medical conditions. Pregnant women and persons with disabilities (PWDs) are also advised against participating.

Change of clothes, sunscreen, sunglasses, caps or hats, cash, towel, flashlight or headlamp, windbreaker jacket, hiking shoes, slippers, and a valid ID are recommended. Additionally, it's advisable to carry a raincoat or poncho, and a passport with at least 6 months validity.

Pre-flight Preparations

Before flying, ensure you have your passport with minimum 6 months validity, return tickets, travel insurance, and other travel essentials.

For travel between cities and towns, we use Toyota Avanza for 1-3 passengers and Toyota Hiace for 4 or more passengers, providing ample space for luggage.

Embark on a scenic 4-hour drive to Bondowoso, including a stop at a local restaurant in Probolinggo for lunch (at your own expense). Upon arrival at your hotel in Bondowoso, enjoy a hearty dinner and rest for the night in preparation for the Ijen adventure ahead.

Ijen Blue Fire – Coffee Plantation – Transfer to Bromo

Start your day at midnight with a 90-minute drive to Paltuding, the starting point of your trek. From there, embark on a 1-1.5 hour hike to the Ijen Crater rim. Witness the mesmerizing Blue Fire phenomenon and the turquoise sulfuric crater lake, illuminated in the early hours. You'll also observe sulfur miners carrying heavy loads amidst the dramatic volcanic landscape. After enjoying the sunrise, return to Bondowoso for a coffee and snack break at the Malabar Coffee Plantation before heading back to your hotel to freshen up and check out.

Journey to Bromo

After breakfast, transfer to your hotel in Cemoro Lawang, near Mount Bromo, with an approximate 3.5-hour drive. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax overnight to prepare for the next day’s Bromo adventure.

Bromo Stargazing, Sunrise, & Crater – Madakaripura Waterfall – Surabaya Night Market

Mount Bromo Stargazing and Sunrise

Begin your day at 2:00 AM with stargazing and a breathtaking view of the Milky Way. Witness the iconic sunrise over Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, and Mount Semeru, the highest and most active volcano in Java. Ride a 4WD across the Sand Sea (Laotan Pasir) to Poten, a Tenggerese Hindu temple at the base of Mount Bromo. From there, choose to either hike or take a pony ride to ascend the 253 steps leading to the crater rim for a close-up view of the steaming crater.

Madakaripura Waterfall Adventure

After exploring Mount Bromo, return to your hotel for breakfast, a shower, and check out. Drive 1 hour to Madakaripura Waterfall, where you will switch to a motorbike ride followed by a 30-minute trek to the stunning falls. Wear trekking sandals and enjoy the company of a local guide as you explore the lush surroundings and cascading waterfalls.

Surabaya Night Market Exploration

Afterward, transfer to Surabaya (approx. 4 hours). In the evening, visit G-Walk Surabaya, a lively night market and favorite hangout spot. Enjoy an array of street food, entertainment, and local bazaars in a vibrant atmosphere. After exploring, return to your hotel in Surabaya for an overnight stay.
