The fitness level required is Beginner.

This activity is not recommended for individuals with high blood pressure, epilepsy, asthma, or other serious medical conditions. Pregnant women and persons with disabilities (PWDs) are also advised against participating.

Change of clothes, sunscreen, sunglasses, caps or hats, cash, towel, flashlight or headlamp, windbreaker jacket, hiking shoes, slippers, and a valid ID are recommended. Additionally, it's advisable to carry a raincoat or poncho, and a passport with at least 6 months validity.

Pre-flight Preparations

Before flying, ensure you have your passport with minimum 6 months validity, return tickets, travel insurance, and other travel essentials.

For travel between cities and towns, we use Toyota Avanza for 1-3 passengers and Toyota Hiace for 4 or more passengers, providing ample space for luggage.

Arrival in Banyuwangi – From Ketapang Harbour to Hotel

Arrive in Banyuwangi

Your tour begins as you are picked up at Ketapang Harbour in Banyuwangi. From there, you will be transferred directly to your hotel in Banyuwangi for check-in and rest.

Ijen Crater Adventure – From Sunrise Views to Papuma Beach Sunset

Explore Ijen Crater

Start your day early at 12:00 AM with a drive to the Paltuding parking area (approx. 1.5-hour drive). Begin the trek to Ijen Crater (approx. 1–1.5 hours), where you will be amazed by the turquoise sulfuric lake and the views of sulfur miners at work. After witnessing the sunrise at the crater, head to Malabar Coffee for a coffee break and snack.

Transfer to Jember

Next, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Bondowoso City, before continuing the journey to Jember City. Upon arrival, relax and check into your hotel.

Papuma Beach Sunset

At 3:00 PM, head to Papuma Beach (approx. 1-hour drive), known for its stunning sunset views over the sea. After soaking in the beauty of the sunset, return to your hotel in Jember for an overnight stay.

Tumpak Sewu Waterfall – From Jember to Cemoro Lawang

Rise early at 4:00 AM and check out of your hotel for a trip to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. This stunning waterfall is one of Java’s most breathtaking natural wonders, with its unique curtain-like flow and several mini-waterfalls. Trek through the canyon to reach the base of the waterfall, crossing rivers and rocks along the way. Proper trekking sandals or shoes are highly recommended for this adventure.

Transfer to Bromo Area

After enjoying the waterfall and a relaxing water spa, enjoy lunch before continuing your journey to the Bromo area (approx. 4-hour drive). Upon arrival, check in to your hotel in Cemoro Lawang and rest for the next day's adventure.

Bromo Sunrise – From Stargazing to Return to Surabaya and Yogyakarta

Mount Bromo Sunrise and Stargazing

At 2:00 AM, prepare for a breathtaking experience with stargazing and the Milky Way view over Mount Bromo. Continue to witness the beautiful sunrise over the Bromo landscape, with views of Mount Batok and Mount Semeru in the distance. After sunrise, ride across the Sand Sea by 4WD or motorcycle to the Poten Temple, where you can choose to hike or take a pony ride to the base of Mount Bromo and ascend 253 steps to the crater’s rim.

Transfer to Surabaya and Yogyakarta

After exploring Mount Bromo’s crater, you will proceed to Surabaya Train Station for your onward journey to Yogyakarta. Please ensure your train departs after 5:00 PM to end the program.
