Java Volcano Tour Operator (JVTO) specializes in private volcano expeditions across East Java.

Client refers to the individual or group making the booking, responsible for providing accurate information and acting on behalf of all travelers involved.

Booking signifies any confirmed request for tours, accommodations, transportation, or other services offered by JVTO.

Verbal agreements or special requests must be confirmed in writing, either in the booking confirmation or the invoice, to be recognized as valid.

Reservations can be made through our official website (javavolcano-touroperator.com) or via official JVTO email correspondence.

By completing a booking, the Client confirms acceptance of all terms and conditions outlined by JVTO.

The Client must provide complete and accurate information regarding participant numbers, arrival details, and any special requirements (e.g., dietary preferences, accommodation needs, or health concerns).

JVTO packages cover renowned East Java destinations such as Mount Bromo, Ijen Crater, Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, and other attractions. Detailed itineraries are available on our website.

Currency: All prices are quoted in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Payments in other currencies may incur additional exchange and conversion fees.

Payment Methods:

• Bank Transfer: Clients are responsible for any transaction fees.
• Credit/Debit Cards: Secure online transactions; any applicable service fees will be communicated in advance.
• Cash Payment: Accepted only with prior confirmation.

Bank Account Details:

Note: International transfers require a SWIFT code, and clients must cover any associated bank fees.

• 20% deposit of the total tour cost to confirm a booking. This deposit must be paid once the Client receives the initial invoice.
• Final Payment must be made according to the following schedule:
  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5 days before the tour.
  • Bank Transfers/Wise: 3 days before the tour.
  • Cash: Upon arrival (if pre-approved).
• Last-Minute Bookings: Full payment (100%) is required for bookings made within 14 days of the departure date.

Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in booking cancellation without refund.

5.1 Cancellation Policy

• More than 48 hours before the tour: Full refund available.
• On the day of the tour (No Show): A penalty of 10%–20% of the total tour cost will be charged based on the package.

5.2 Refund Options

Clients can choose between:

1. Reschedule: Rebook the same tour without additional fees.
2. Travel Voucher: Receive a voucher equal to the refund amount, with no deductions or expiration date.

5.3 Refund Procedure

• Submit refund requests via your JVTO account or by email with your booking ID.
• Refunds are processed within 48 hours after verification.

6.1 Booking Adjustments

Changes must be requested in advance and are subject to availability and potential price adjustments.

6.2 Force Majeure Events

JVTO reserves the right to alter itineraries due to uncontrollable circumstances such as severe weather, natural disasters, or government restrictions.

6.3 Special Requests

Requests (e.g., dietary preferences, room arrangements, transportation types) will be accommodated where possible, subject to availability and confirmation via invoice or official email.

• Tours may involve trekking, hiking, and travel through remote areas.
• JVTO reserves the right to modify itineraries for safety reasons.
• Clients should be aware that access to medical facilities in remote regions may be limited.
• Participants should have appropriate fitness levels for the tours they book.
• All safety guidelines provided by tour guides must be followed at all times.

Tour prices include:

• Accommodation with breakfast
• Ground transportation (MPV, Hiace, Bromo Jeep)
• Licensed drivers and guides
• Entry fees to tourist attractions
• Safety equipment
• Travel T-shirt
• Mineral water
• Meals as indicated in the itinerary

Not included:

• Travel insurance
• Personal expenses (laundry, calls, minibar)
• Tips and gratuities
• International or domestic flights
• Additional activities not specified in the itinerary

To the maximum extent permitted by Law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms, however arising, will be limited to us either resupplying the relevant Tour to you or paying to you an amount not exceeding the Fees paid by you to us.

Before, during, or after our Tour you may have the opportunity to participate in optional activities that are operated by Third Parties and not included in the price of your trip. You are responsible for all risks associated with the transportation to or from, and your participation in, or visitation to, any place, activity, or excursion not listed as an inclusion of the Tour.

We shall not be held liable for any damage to, or loss of, property or injury to, or death of, persons occasioned directly or indirectly by an act or omission of any other provider, including but not limited to any defect in any aircraft, watercraft, or vehicle operated or provided by such other provider.
