• Important Information for all travellers who are going to book this trip: Every first Friday of the month, Mount Ijen is closed for one day. So, please make sure you check the date of your booking.

• Update from Ijen Crater 2023: Ijen Crater is not open at night at the moment due to volcano activity (toxic gas, lake water level). Hence, all tourists are not allowed to visit at midnight to see blue fire for safety reason. They are only allowed to start hiking in the early morning at 4 am for sunrise, but you can still see the whole view from the top and some miners too.
• Starting January 5th, 2024, visitors to Kawah Ijen must present a health certificate. We've partnered with medical staff and hotels to conduct health screenings for climbers at a cost of IDR 35,000 per person. Ensure a safe and enjoyable trek with our pre-climb health check-ups.

• What are the accessibility options available?

  This activity is not stroller-friendly or wheelchair-accessible. Child seats are also not provided.

• Is there any specific fitness level required?

  The fitness level required is Beginner.

• Are there any health restrictions or limitations?

  Yes, this activity is not recommended for individuals with high blood pressure, epilepsy, asthma, or other serious medical conditions. Pregnant women and persons with disabilities (PWDs) are also advised against participating.

• What items should I bring for the activity?

  Change of clothes, sunscreen, sunglasses, caps or hats, cash, towel, flashlight or headlamp, windbreaker jacket, hiking shoes, slippers, and a valid ID are recommended. Additionally, it's advisable to carry a raincoat or poncho, and a passport with at least 6 months validity.

• What should I prepare before flying?

  Before flying, ensure you have your passport with minimum 6 months validity, return tickets, travel insurance, and other travel essentials.

• What kind of vehicles do we use for the tours?

  For travel between cities and towns, we use Toyota Avanza for 1-3 passengers and Toyota Hiace for 4 or more passengers, providing ample space for luggage.

• Can I customize the itinerary?

  While we offer a popular itinerary, we understand your preferences may differ. You can customize the itinerary by adding, changing, or skipping attractions. All attractions and activities are optional, and you can inform our guide during the tour or leave a note when checking out.
