What should I prepare before the tour?

Before the tour begins, please ensure you have confirmed your booking and provided us with your exact pickup details and Valid ID/Passport and travel insurance. We also recommend being well-rested, as the tour involves early morning treks to catch the sunrise.

What should I bring during the tour?

We highly recommend bringing warm clothing (a thick jacket, beanie, gloves) for the cold temperatures at Bromo and Ijen. Also, pack comfortable trekking shoes, a small backpack, a personal camera, sunscreen, and sandals or waterproof shoes for the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall.

What is the difficulty level of the Ijen crater hike?

The Ijen crater hike is of moderate difficulty. It involves a 3-kilometer trek uphill on a well-defined path, which typically takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Some sections can be steep, but it is manageable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness.

What is the difficulty level of the Mount Bromo hike?

The Mount Bromo trek is considered easy. A 4WD Jeep will take you to the main viewpoint and then to the 'Sea of Sand' parking area. From there, it's a relatively flat walk followed by a climb up a staircase of about 250 steps to the crater rim.

Arrival in Surabaya and Transfer to Bondowoso. Begin your adventure by being picked up at Surabaya Airport (preferably before 12 PM). After arrival in Bondowoso, check-in at hotel for a relaxing evening. We’ll end the day with a delicious welcome dinner to set the tone for the journey ahead.

Ijen Crater: Witnessing the Blue Fire and Sulfuric Beauty. Your day begins at midnight with a drive to Ijen Crater’s parking area, followed by a 1-1.5 hour trek to the crater’s rim. Marvel at the surreal turquoise sulfuric lake and the blue fire, a phenomenon that occurs in the early hours of the morning. Watch as miners battle the harsh conditions to harvest sulfur—a striking display of human resilience amidst natural beauty. Coffee Break and Scenic Journey to Bromo. After enjoying the sunrise at Ijen, relax with a refreshing stop at Malabar Coffee Plantation for a break before returning to the hotel for a shower and lunch. Then, drive 3.5 hours to Bromo, where you will check-in at Joglo Kecombrang Bromo for an overnight stay.
