The fitness level required is Beginner.

This activity is not recommended for individuals with high blood pressure, epilepsy, asthma, or other serious medical conditions. Pregnant women and persons with disabilities (PWDs) are also advised against participating.

Change of clothes, sunscreen, sunglasses, caps or hats, cash, towel, flashlight or headlamp, windbreaker jacket, hiking shoes, slippers, and a valid ID are recommended. Additionally, it's advisable to carry a raincoat or poncho, and a passport with at least 6 months validity.

Pre-flight Preparations

Before flying, ensure you have your passport with minimum 6 months validity, return tickets, travel insurance, and other travel essentials.

For travel between cities and towns, we use Toyota Avanza for 1-3 passengers and Toyota Hiace for 4 or more passengers, providing ample space for luggage.

Arrival in Surabaya and Transfer to Bondowoso

Your adventure begins with a pickup at Surabaya Airport (ideally before 12 PM). You’ll then be transferred to your hotel in Bondowoso, a journey of approximately 5 hours. On the way, stop at a local restaurant in Probolinggo for lunch (at your own expense). Upon arrival at the hotel in Bondowoso, enjoy dinner and relax overnight in preparation for the next day's adventure.

The Blue Fire of Ijen - From Sunrise at Ijen Crater to Bromo

Your day begins at midnight with a drive to the Paltuding trailhead near Ijen Crater, approximately 90 minutes from your hotel. From the trailhead, trek for about 1-1.5 hours to reach the crater rim, where you’ll witness the spectacular turquoise sulfuric crater lake and observe the local sulfur miners at work. Enjoy the breathtaking sunrise before descending the trail.

Coffee Plantation Visit & Journey to Bromo

After exploring Ijen, visit the Malabar Coffee Plantation in Sempol Village for a coffee and snack break. Return to your hotel in Bondowoso for a shower, lunch, and checkout. You’ll then embark on a 3.5-hour drive to Cemoro Lawang near Mount Bromo, where you’ll check into your hotel and relax overnight.

Mount Bromo Sunrise & Stargazing

Start your day early at 1:00 AM to experience stargazing and the Milky Way over Mount Bromo. Witness the breathtaking sunrise over the volcanic landscape, featuring Mount Batok, Mount Bromo, and Gunung Semeru. After sunrise, enjoy a thrilling 4WD ride across the Sand Sea to Poten Hindu Temple. From there, either hike or take a pony ride to Mount Bromo’s crater rim for close-up views.

Whispering Sands & Madakaripura Waterfall

After Mount Bromo, explore the scenic Whispering Sands. Return to your hotel for breakfast, a shower, and checkout. Continue your journey to Madakaripura Waterfall (1-hour drive), switch to a motorbike for access, and enjoy a 30-minute trek to the waterfall. Afterward, head to Malang City (3-hour drive), stopping at a local restaurant for lunch (at your own expense). Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy free time to relax.

After breakfast and checkout at 8:00 AM, visit Omah Kayu, Taman Langit, and Goa Pinus in Batu City. These attractions, located on the slopes of Mount Banyak, offer panoramic views of Batu City at 1,340 meters above sea level, perfect for photography enthusiasts.

Journey to Surabaya & G-Walk Night Market

After exploring Batu City, travel to Surabaya (approximately 4 hours). In the evening, explore G-Walk, a vibrant nightlife and entertainment hub offering bazaars, food stalls, and local delicacies. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
