This activity is not recommended for individuals with high blood pressure, epilepsy, asthma, or other serious medical conditions. Pregnant women and persons with disabilities (PWDs) are also advised against participating.

Change of clothes, sunscreen, sunglasses, caps or hats, cash, towel, flashlight or headlamp, windbreaker jacket, hiking shoes, slippers, and a valid ID are recommended. Additionally, it's advisable to carry a raincoat or poncho, and a passport with at least 6 months validity.

For travel between cities and towns, we use Toyota Avanza for 1-3 passengers and Toyota Hiace for 4 or more passengers, providing ample space for luggage.

Surabaya to Bondowoso - Arrival and Rest

Your tour begins with a pickup at Surabaya Airport (preferably before 12:00 PM). From there, we’ll transfer you to Bondowoso (approximately 5 hours), with a stop at a local restaurant for lunch (at your own expense). Upon arrival at your hotel in Bondowoso, enjoy a restful evening with dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 2

Ijen Blue Crater - Jember

Ijen Crater Adventure

The day starts early at 12:00 AM as we drive to the Paltuding trailhead, which takes about 1.5 hours. From there, we’ll begin the trek to Ijen Crater (approximately 1 to 1.5 hours). Upon reaching the crater rim, you’ll be rewarded with a spectacular view of the 200-meter deep turquoise sulfuric lake. You’ll also have the chance to observe the remarkable sulfur miners at work, hauling 70kg sacks of sulfur. After the sunrise view, we’ll stop at Malabar Coffee for a coffee break before returning to Bondowoso for a shower and check-out.

Journey to Jember

After a break, we’ll drive to your homestay in Jember for check-in, followed by a relaxing evening and dinner.

After breakfast, we’ll check out and head to the Coffee & Cocoa Science Technopark. Learn about the local coffee and cocoa industry and enjoy the rich flavors. Afterward, we’ll continue the trip to Papuma Beach for a relaxing visit, before transferring to the homestay in the Tumpak Sewu area. Check-in, enjoy dinner, and rest for the night.

After breakfast at 7:00 AM, we’ll set off to explore Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, one of Java’s most stunning falls. With multiple mini waterfalls cascading into a circular cliff formation, the waterfall offers a breathtaking sight. To reach it, we’ll follow a river up the canyon and cross it at one point. Please wear proper trekking sandals or shoes for this adventure.

Journey to Cemoro Lawang

After visiting the waterfall, we’ll enjoy lunch before embarking on a 4-hour drive to your hotel in the Bromo area. Check-in and relax, preparing for the next day's adventure.

Bromo Stargazing and Sunrise - Surabaya

Mount Bromo Stargazing & Sunrise

Start the day at 2:00 AM with stargazing and a view of the Milky Way over Mount Bromo. Then, witness the sunrise over the stunning Bromo landscape, with views of Mount Batok, Mount Bromo, and Gunung Semeru. After the sunrise, enjoy a 4WD ride through the Sand Sea to Poten, a Hindu temple. From there, you can choose to hike 3 km or take a pony ride to the base of Mount Bromo for close-up views of the crater rim.

Return to Surabaya

After exploring the crater, return to your hotel for breakfast, a shower, and check-out. Then, we’ll transfer you to Surabaya (3-hour drive). Once there, you’ll have time to explore G-Walk, a popular hangout spot for both locals and tourists, before checking in to your hotel for the night. Dinner at your own expense is available at various food stalls and entertainment venues.

After breakfast, we’ll begin the day with a visit to the Heroes Monument (Tugu Pahlawan), which commemorates the Battle of Surabaya. The nearby 10th November Museum offers insights into the city's history. Then, visit the House of Sampoerna, a museum showcasing Indonesia’s iconic clove cigarette brand, and witness the hand-rolling process. Around noon, we’ll stop for lunch (at your own expense) before visiting the Cheng Ho Mosque, a unique blend of Chinese and Islamic architecture.End the day with dinner at Graha Loop, a local food court offering a variety of delicious meals.
