The fitness level required is Beginner.

This activity is not recommended for individuals with high blood pressure, epilepsy, asthma, or other serious medical conditions. Pregnant women and persons with disabilities (PWDs) are also advised against participating.

Change of clothes, sunscreen, sunglasses, caps or hats, cash, towel, flashlight or headlamp, windbreaker jacket, hiking shoes, slippers, and a valid ID are recommended. Additionally, it's advisable to carry a raincoat or poncho, and a passport with at least 6 months validity.

Pre-flight Preparations

Before flying, ensure you have your passport with minimum 6 months validity, return tickets, travel insurance, and other travel essentials.

For travel between cities and towns, we use Toyota Avanza for 1-3 passengers and Toyota Hiace for 4 or more passengers, providing ample space for luggage.

Arrival in Surabaya – From Surabaya to Bondowoso

Arrival and Transfer to Bondowoso

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from Surabaya Airport (preferably before 12:00 PM). From there, embark on a 5-hour drive to your hotel in Bondowoso, with a stop for lunch at a local restaurant in Probolinggo (lunch at own expense). After checking into your hotel in Bondowoso, enjoy dinner and a restful night.

Ijen Crater Adventure – From Sunrise Views to Papuma Beach Sunset

The day begins at 12:00 AM, as we drive to Paltuding, the Ijen parking area (approx. 1.5-hour drive). From there, begin your trek to the Ijen Crater (approx. 1–1.5 hours). At the crater’s rim, you’ll witness the breathtaking turquoise sulfuric crater lake and the sulfur miners at work. After watching the sunrise over the crater, we stop at Malabar Coffee for a snack and coffee break.

Transfer to Jember

Return to your hotel in Bondowoso for a shower, check-out, and lunch before continuing your journey to Jember City. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax.

Papuma Beach Sunset

At 3:00 PM, we head to Papuma Beach (approx. 1-hour drive). Enjoy stunning sunset views over the ocean before returning to your hotel in Jember for an overnight stay.

Tumpak Sewu Waterfall – From Jember to Cemoro Lawang

Tumpak Sewu Waterfall Discovery

Your day starts early at 4:00 AM, when we check out from the hotel and drive to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. This stunning waterfall is one of the most beautiful in Java, known for its unique curtain-like formation and multiple mini-waterfalls. To reach the waterfall, you’ll need to trek through the canyon, navigating rocks and crossing the river. Please bring appropriate trekking sandals and a plastic bag for your comfort.

Transfer to Bromo Area

After enjoying the waterfall and taking a water spa, we’ll stop for lunch before continuing the 4-hour drive to the Bromo area. Check into your hotel in Cemoro Lawang for the night and prepare for an exciting day ahead.

Bromo Sunrise – From Stargazing to Return to Surabaya and Yogyakarta

Mount Bromo Stargazing and Sunrise

At 2:00 AM, begin your Mount Bromo adventure with stargazing and a view of the Milky Way. Afterward, continue to witness the spectacular sunrise over the Bromo landscape, with views of Mount Batok, Mount Bromo, and Mount Semeru in the distance. After sunrise, ride across the Sand Sea by 4WD or motorcycle to the Poten Temple. From there, choose to hike or take a pony ride to the base of Mount Bromo, where you will ascend 253 steps to the crater’s rim.

Return to Surabaya and Yogyakarta

After exploring the Bromo crater, drive to Surabaya Train Station for your onward journey to Yogyakarta. Please ensure your train departs after 5:00 PM to conclude your adventure.
