You're not necessary to be an astronomer to join, but with your passion in astronomy or stargazing, and nature photography, all are welcome to participate. Due to the favour of weather and location, we had good time in our past trips spent in Mt Bromo for both day or night activities.
Mount Bromois really an active volcano that is found in Java, Indonesia, and offers some of the most spectacular views of the Milky Way and of Mars and Jupiter. Rising 7,641 feet (2,329 meters) Combining the stunning environment with clouds covering the bases of the volcanos and clear skies makes for a truly astounding view.
This volcano is part of the Bromo-Tennger-Semeru National Park located in East Java, Indonesia. The National Park, occupying 800 square kilometers, is home to Mount Bromo, a well-known active volcano (which regularly spews white sulphurous smoke) that lies in the middle of the Sea of Sand within the massive Tengger Caldera. Sharing the spotlight with Mount Bromo (center of image) is Mount Semeru (left of image) which is Indonesias most active volcano as it spews out steam and smoke every 20 minutes and Mount Batok (right of image) which stands at around 2470m above sea level.
