This activity is not recommended for individuals with high blood pressure, epilepsy, asthma, or other serious medical conditions. Pregnant women and persons with disabilities (PWDs) are also advised against participating.

Change of clothes, sunscreen, sunglasses, caps or hats, cash, towel, flashlight or headlamp, windbreaker jacket, hiking shoes, slippers, and a valid ID are recommended. Additionally, it's advisable to carry a raincoat or poncho, and a passport with at least 6 months validity.

Pre-flight Preparations

Before flying, ensure you have your passport with minimum 6 months validity, return tickets, travel insurance, and other travel essentials.

For travel between cities and towns, we use Toyota Avanza for 1-3 passengers and Toyota Hiace for 4 or more passengers, providing ample space for luggage.

Welcome to Bromo - Surabaya to the Gateway of Bromo

Arrival in Surabaya and Transfer to Bromo

Your adventure begins with a pickup from Surabaya Airport. Embark on a scenic 3-hour drive to the hotel in Cemoro Lawang, Bromo. After arrival, check-in at the Joglo Kecombrang Bromo for a restful evening. There are no meals included today, allowing you to relax and adjust to the beautiful surroundings.

Bromo Sunrise – Exploring the Volcano and Waterfall Wonders

Mount Bromo Sunrise: Stargazing and Volcano Views

Your day begins at 1 AM with a preparation for stargazing and a view of the Milky Way over the Bromo caldera. Enjoy the surreal sunrise as it rises over the volcanic landscape, with Mount Batok, Mount Bromo, and the towering Semeru in the distance. The adventure continues with a thrilling 4WD ride or motorcycle ride over the Sand Sea to Poten Temple. From here, you can take a 3 km hike or a pony ride to reach the base of Mount Bromo and ascend 253 steps to get up-close views of the crater rim.

Madakaripura Waterfall: A Hidden Paradise

After witnessing the incredible Bromo sunrise, we will journey to Madakaripura Waterfall. A 1-hour drive leads you to the entrance, followed by a 30-minute trek (wearing slippers) to this hidden gem of nature. After exploring, we’ll continue our journey to Bondowoso, with a stop at a local restaurant for lunch (at own expense). In the evening, check-in at Grand Padis Hotel in Bondowoso for a well-deserved rest. Dinner is included at the hotel.

Ijen Crater – Sunrise Over a Sulfuric Landscape

Ijen Crater: Blue Fire and Sulfuric Wonders

Your Ijen adventure begins at midnight with a drive to the Ijen Crater parking area (Paltuding). From there, embark on a 1-1.5 hour trek to the crater rim, where you’ll be rewarded with views of the world-famous turquoise sulfuric lake and the rare blue fire phenomenon. Watch the brave sulfur miners at work, carrying heavy sacks of sulfur amidst the toxic fumes and challenging terrain.

Return to Surabaya

After soaking in the views of the Ijen Crater, return to the hotel for a shower and a light lunch. Then, begin your 4-hour drive back to Surabaya. Upon arrival, we will drop you off at your hotel or Surabaya Airport, concluding your adventure. Meals included: Breakfast and Lunch.
