We thoroughly enjoyed the company of Guffron, our tour guide and Pak Yusuf, our driver during this entire trip. They made sure that we were well taken care of and our itinerary was all in place. Ijen was challenging but with the help of Guffron, we managed to pull through and it was all well worth it. The stars in the night sky and the sunrise at Bromo was spectacular. This trip was well worth the price considering that everything is taken care of. Tips to pack warmer clothes and proper and comfortable footwear for the trip (thick jacket, hiking boots for Ijen & Bromo, water shoes for the waterfall). Was a well worth it trip overall!!
