Booked the 4d3n tour to Tumpak Sewu, Mt Bromo and Kawah Ijen from the JVTO website. A really memorable trip with spectacular views, well organised itinerary, decent accommodations and the best tour guides. We always arrived early at the waterfall and mountains to avoid the crowds which is a huge plus point. Special thanks to Fauzi for taking good care of us the entire trip. He was friendly, hilarious and easy going where we vibed really well with him over common interests and jokes which made the experience even special. He knows all the good picture spots, takes amazing photos and helps us with anything. He was our guide for Tumpak Sewu and Mt Bromo, we always felt safe and never had to worry about anything under his care. Our driver, Fredy, was always punctual and is also very chill. Although the drives to each destination are long (avg 3-4 hours) each day, his smooth driving makes it comfortable and we slept like a baby during those journeys! Taufik, our guide at Kawah Ijen was really friendly and professional . He matches our hiking pace and always checked on us. Although we couldn’t head down to see the blue fire, he lit a small flame for us to see which was really nice. Overall verdict: I highly recommend this tour company if you want a worry-free and unforgettable trip visiting East Java. They always prioritise safety and all the guides and drivers have incredible hospitality and great attitude. Truly a well-organised and fulfilling adventure!
