My friend and I had an amazing experience with JVTO. Our guide, Juan, was very knowledgeable and also a lot of fun. His English was excellent, and was extremely helpful. Holly, our driver, was also fantastic, very friendly and great sense of humor. The volcano excursions and the great accommodations were impressive and definitely worth it, but the trip was truly unforgettable thanks to Juan and Holly.

We had a wonderful 4D3N trip and visited spectacular places in East Java. Ijen, Tumpak Sewu, Papuma Beach and Bromo offered improbable views and impressions. It is definitely worth making this trip. A special thanks goes to our guide Boy and our driver Joyo who took care of us so attentively and patiently the whole time and to the office wich made a really spontaneous change of plans possible. Very flexible, uncomplicated and friendly. We felt well looked after all the time, Boy answered all our questions and took great care of everything. Joyo took us safely from A to B managing the crazy traffic all over Java with ease and herby allowing us to catch up on some sleep. The office responded to questions within a few minutes. There was complete around-the-clock care. From the pick-up in Bali to the ferry ride to Java, through all hikes up to the drop off in Surabaya at our hotel, there was always someone at our side. Spontaneous stops on the journey were always possible. We had a good and safe feeling all the time. The whole trip was described in a completely transparent way in advance. You know the timing and the accommodations - like promised on the website no surprises or hidden costs. Honestly, this trip was so much more special than I expected. 🤍 I was travelling alone, and from the very beginning to the very end, I felt so surrounded, looked after and welcomed by the whole JVTO team. Everyone was so kind, reactive and helpful, and I always felt like I could ask anything and that someone was there to help. A very special thank you to Egy and Juan, who were honestly a true blessing during this trip. 🥹 They were always so kind, patient and thoughtful, and I laughed so much with them. Egy deserves a special mention because he was just the sweetest. Always calm, gentle and making sure everything was okay (and that I stayed hydrated!).
