Surabaya to Bromo Pickup
Pickup at your location in Surabaya. Our team meets you at the agreed pick-up point, confirms the booking details, and begins the overnight overland drive toward the Bromo transit point to start the midnight tour flow.
Start Bromo Sunrise Tour
Arrive at the Bromo transit point and transition to a private 4WD Jeep. After switching vehicles, the Bromo sunrise program starts, continuing by Jeep into the Bromo area according to the sunrise touring sequence.
Bromo Sunrise Viewing
Witness the sunrise from the viewpoint area. This is the dedicated time window for sunrise viewing, taking photos, and enjoying the changing light across the landscape from the designated Bromo viewpoint.
Explore Sea of Sand and Bromo Crater
Explore the Sea of Sand and continue to the Bromo crater area. This segment covers moving through the Sea of Sand zone and completing the approach to the crater, including the climb up to the crater viewpoint/rim area as stated in the route plan.
Return to Transit Point
After completing the Bromo activity sequence, return from the Bromo area to the transit point. This is the regrouping and transfer-back step before the breakfast stop and the return drive.
Simple Breakfast
Enjoy a simple breakfast at a local restaurant (included). This is a short, practical meal break after the Bromo morning route, with time to sit down and recharge before departing back to Surabaya.

Bookings are made only on javavolcano-touroperator.com. A 20% deposit confirms the booking; if Day 1 is within 14 days, JVTO may require up to 100% at booking. The balance is due 5 days before Day 1 when paying by card or QRIS, and 3 days before Day 1 by bank wire or Wise.

Cancel the complete booking 48 hours or more before Day 1 and you receive Lifetime Package Credit: it never expires, preserves the same package, original pax entitlement and original confirmed price, and can be transferred once. It is not cash and cannot be exchanged for cash. Cancel less than 48 hours before Day 1 and the booking is forfeited, with no credit created. If one traveller cancels while the tour continues, that traveller is refunded 100% at 48 hours or more, 50% within 48 hours, and 0% after Day 1, provided at least 2 paying travellers remain.

Volcanic alert level changes and BBKSDA closures are outside any operator's control, so the remedy depends on when the closure lands. If a verified official event makes the whole tour impossible before Day 1, you choose between Lifetime Package Credit and a cash refund less any non-recoverable vendor cost. If it affects only part of the tour after Day 1 has begun, JVTO first offers an alternative route or activity of equal standard, and where none is suitable a refund of the affected component applies. We monitor PVMBG alerts and notify guests proactively; our weather-and-closures policy documents the full SOP.
