Five JVTO packages include Papuma: the 4D3N Ijen, Papuma, Tumpak Sewu & Bromo (Surabaya), the 5D4N full East Java circuit (Surabaya), the 6D5N Grand East Java (Surabaya), and two Bali-origin equivalents — the 4D3N and 5D4N circuits from Bali finishing in Surabaya. On Surabaya-origin packages, Papuma is reached after the Kawah Ijen night hike (Day 2 on 4D3N packages). The overland transfer from the Ijen area to Papuma takes roughly 2–3 hours. Guests arriving from Bali travel via the Gilimanuk–Ketapang ferry crossing into East Java — the Bali-to-Ijen segment takes 5–7 hours, with Papuma following the next day. JVTO manages all connections and travel timing.

Private transport to and from Papuma is included in all Papuma-family packages, along with a dedicated driver-guide or escort guide. Entrance fees and parking at Papuma are included. On Papuma-family packages, guests overnight at Doho Homestay on the Papuma side (after the Ijen day). Breakfast is included. The following morning, guests continue overland toward Tumpak Sewu.
